We issue refunds for the following circumstances (see below for full details):
- 30 days before the retreat, you can call to cancel and receive a full refund.
- If you call and cancel less than 30 days before the retreat, AND we have a couple who wishes to take your place, you will receive a full refund. (Call as soon as you know you cannot attend... See below for details). If there is not an alternate couple available and willing to attend in your place, there will be no refund.
- If you have a true emergency, please call us as soon as you can, and you will receive a full refund (see below for details).
- You may transfer your retreat registration to another time and location with prior approval (see below for details).
- If you contact us AFTER the retreat is over (unless emergency situations prevent you from doing so), or if you do not phone us with your request (please do not depend on emails), you will not be issued a refund.
Note: All refunds must be requested by phone. We will not respond to any requests for refunds sent to us by email.
Retreat Refund Details
(1) If you wish to cancel a paid registration, you can do so up to 30 days before the retreat and receive a full reinbursement. Please call us at (904) 315-1096. (Do not email your request).
(2) We attempt to keep the number of registration spots low, so once a retreat is full we typically have an alternate list of couples who wish to be considered if a registered couple cancels. Usually there are couples who wish to attend a retreat that is full, and we keep their contact information. If for any reason you decide less than 30 days before a "Magnify Your Marriage" retreat you registered and paid for, that you cannot go, AND we have an alternate couple that will take your place (we will contact them), you will be refunded the full amount. It will be most helpful if you give sufficient time for other couples to make plans, so the sooner you call to cancel, the better chances that an alternate couple will take your place, and your payment will be refunded. We ask that you call (904) 315-1096 with your request to cancel as soon as possible (please do not email us with your request). It is not guaranteed that we will have another couple to take your place, but we try hard to make this happen. If we do not have a couple that has agreed to take your place, we cannot refund your money.
(3) If you cannot attend a paid retreat due to an emergency (like a weather disaster or hospitalization), please call us at (904) 315-1096 as soon as it is reasonable for you to do so. Do not email your request. Please call us directly at any time. If you truly have an emergency, we will refund your full amount. Please be honest with an emergency request to cancel, and try to call as soon as you reasonably can so that we can offer it to another couple, because we will have to pay for your hotel overnight room even though no one uses it due to contracts that we sign with the hotel. Abuse of last-minute cancellation refunds due to emergencies will hurt our business, so please be considerate and keep this option open for those with true emergencies.
(4) If you call to request a transfer of your retreat registration to another time and location and there is an alternate couple to take your place at the original retreat, you will be granted a registration transfer. Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund the difference between the original retreat vs. the cost of the retreat to which you are transferring.
(5) If you contact us AFTER the retreat is over (unless an emergency situation prevents you from doing so), or if you do not phone us with your request (please do not depend on emails), you will not be issued a refund.
