Due to many requests, in June of 2006 we began to offer a half hour optional segment during the Saturday lunch breaks at LDS "Magnify your Marriage" retreats throughout the United States. Although feedback from participants has been positive, we have received many requests for Ken Robertson to offer a separate day seminar that would more fully cover the unique and challenging remarriage, stepfamilies, and step child issues.
We are pleased to announce that beginning July of 2007, we are enhancing many of our LDS "Magnify Your Marriage" retreats by offering a 5-hour additional seminar for this very important subject! We will offer this extra day for $48 per couple. This seminar will meet during weekend retreats on Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The main "Magnify Your Marriage" retreat schedule will begin as usual at 7:00 PM on Friday evening. |

The following couples are welcome to register for the extended Friday "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" seminars:

Married or Engaged couples who have previously been married.

Other couples who would like to understand remarriage and stepfamilies issues (for example, we have had bishops and children of stepfamilies attend to gain more understanding).

Those who are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as "LDS" or "Mormon") are welcome. However, please read #2 at the bottom of this page.

A "Remarriage and Stepfamilies" Seminar would be incomplete without the "Magnify Your Marriage" presentations. For this reason, the extra "Remarriage and Stepfamilies" seminar will only be available to...
...couples who have previously attended a "Magnify Your Marriage" event. These couples are not required to register for another "Magnify Your Marriage" retreat ($48 per couple).
...couples who have not attended a "Magnify Your Marriage" event and are registering for the adjoining "Magnify Your Marriage" presentations on Friday evening and Saturday day ($48 extra per couple).

"Remarriage & Stepfamilies" Friday Seminar - More Info

The Friday "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" seminar begins at 9:00 AM on Friday morning. The cost of $48 per couple does NOT include an overnight stay for this seminar. If you wish to reserve a sleeping room at the hotel for Thursday night, simply click on "Need an Extra Night?" found under the hotel photograph for your retreat location. We negotiate with hotels for better group prices for you, and each hotel handles additional nights differently.

These presentations have been developed to embrace the Christian teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also commonly known as "LDS" or "Mormon"). Couples who are not LDS are also welcome! Ken Robertson periodically shares quotes from scriptures and modern day prophets (Including the Bible, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine & Covenants). You will NOT be required to join or profess tenants of the LDS faith. Ken & Cindy Robertson do their best to help couples of other faiths feel comfortable. We ask that you be respectful of our faith (if you have questions about our faith, we ask that you speak to us privately during breaks). Feel free to join us... We may not be able to offer the extended "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" Friday seminar at every "Magnify Your Marriage" retreat. Each location web page will list whether there is a half hour "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" presentation during the Saturday lunch break OR the full Friday "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" seminar. Also, the current locations to the right of this page lists which locations have the Friday full day "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" seminar. If you wish to attend the Friday full day "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" seminar and it is not being offered at your location, keep in mind that there will still be the half hour stepfamilies presentation during the Saturday lunch break (only at those locations without the Friday day seminar). If you attend a "Magnify Your Marriage" retreat, you have the option of attending a "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" Friday seminar at a later date.
- At the Friday "Remarriage & Stepfamilies" seminar, a booklet will be provided with presentation notes. (If a Saturday half hour presentation is offered, shorter remarriage and stepfamilies presentation notes will be added to the "Magnify Your Marriage" booklet).
